back to bikes and stuff....

this is what I ran into the last few weeks...
more about the bikes and car on the Motorized! blog in the next weeks....

Merry X-mas???

Had some visual ready to post tonight to wish everyone a merry christmass, was planning to post it here untill I watched the Christmass news tonight, a guy shooting at a party of 30 because of relational problems, young girls in Pakistan treathened to be murdered if they continue to keep going to school, a bucnh of Belgian politicians arguing about how to go on after the governement fell (again!!!... gotta get them guys a trike or at least some support wheels...)

Was thinking about how "empty" it would be just to post some visual here...

So folks, for the new year I wish you can all live in a world like the one I'm in...
one were people tend to live together without too many serious issues among eachother, sure there's some stuff that makes the road a bit bumpy sometimes , but in general it's a pretty smooth ride along with family and friends, and a whole bunch of likeminded people all over the world.

To the people in "my" world...thanx bigtime for 2008, may we all enjoy a wonderfull new year...
...To everyone else out there...hope you find your world to enjoy life to the fullest in 2009.

Lovely ladies..

My wife Cindy & Peggy @ Speedfest last weekend

Very busy weekend....

weekend started early last week...
First picked up my rims for the Galaxy, these were flaked by my buddy Lieven aka Candyman
after that it was off to Area 9 in Holland to shoot their Mooneyes Shovel...
from there to the Iron Pit shop in Helmond, to make a parts deal with Hans, so I came home with a a nice springer setup for the shovel, including chromed topclamp with dogbones and a 21inch frontwheel with drumbrake and Avon Speedmaster...gonna look mighty fine...hope to put it in the frame this week.
After all this it was off to Eindhoven for the Speedfest and Rodcity Hotrod and Custom show (hosted by Trashers cc from Eindhoven)
More pics on the Motorized blog.
After that we went home and got some sleep....

About my paintjobs...

Maybe you heard some stories bout not doing anymore pinstriping or paintjobs...
...I'm still painting folks...only thing is I decided to take a step back...doing less but more exlusive paintjobs for friends bikes, and some of my own projects (car & bike) whenever I feel like it I will take on jobs, but at this moment I got plenty of stuff to do for the whole winter.

My priorities at this time are with Motorized! ...so keep your eyes on that page too.

Meanwhile expect some more cool stuff showing up on this blog.

Almost leaving for a week of Holidays...

But wanted to bring the happy news...after holidays we're staring on the paintjob for the latest Krugger creation....
Fred has build a chopper...and once again a typical Krugger bike...this one is my favorite...eventhough I really like all other Krugger bikes.

Last weekend the bike was presented at the Bigtwin bike expo in bare metal...after paint and final assembly it will début in Italy, mid januari 2009...

check Fred's site for more

Tahitian Suburban for sale

Sue from Hotrod Tiki (UK) send us the message she's selling the Tahitian...
this is one cool partshauler if you ask me....

It is a 1962 Chevrolet Suburban called The Tahitian, with the full nine seats, full sliding windows, with a clam shell rear tailgate, this is the rare model. It is an Arizona car, which I bought in May 2005, it has had a full bare metal custom paint job, it is painted in VW cream pearl, with House of Kolor gold roof with Gold Flake, then House of Kolor tangerine lace panels over the dash and roof. The interior is a VW beige metallic, everything has been removed, blasted and then painted, before being refitted. The interior is all painted and finished, the front seat is trimmed in retro hawaiian barkcloth, stitched in a waterfall design, with clear plastic over the barkcloth, with cream vinyl and gold metal flake piping, the roof lining is lahala matting with matching floor mats. The whole car has been pinstriped and named by Neil Melliard from Prosign, UK. It has a brand new small block Chevy motor painted in mild gold metalflake, with a fully detailed engine bay, it also has a new water pump, alternator, starter motor, fuel pump, 600 Holley carb, Edelbrock manifold and Hooker headers, etc, etc. It has a new rebuilt 10 bolt axle, also it is a 3 speed manual, 3 on a tree! It has the original torsion bar suspension, it has all new ball joints, etc; all new brakes, everything has been done and it is taxed and tested. It also has power steering. It has a brand new set of Coker red band tyres, and painted metal flake wheels! There is so much done to this vehicle, I can't remember it all, but there is nothing left to do on the vehicle, apart from drive it!! Everything is new and replaced. I am asking £13,950-00 for it.

contact Sue if you're interested

Pinstripes...

While on holiday to the US, Koen trusted me with his van and bass, to lay down some lines...

While we're on the subject of me...

Yesterday @ VonSkips garage....

I went over to Rockcity to put some final paint on Limpe's chopper...
Geert (aka VonSkip) was so kind to offer us a cool spot to work...
Great night meeting some nice folks and creative minds...

2 dutch paparazzzzzi followed my every move for a while and this is the result of only one of them...just love these shots Maurice made.
Can wait to see what Limpe did to me...

icing on the cake was of course the new ride Geert got hold of...he's the guy responsible for bringing Steve Caballero's 5 window to Holland...What a damn sexy car that is...
the overall look of this rod is simply amazing, smooth, clean, wild, agressive...
